As per the Government policy, from Term 1 2024, students must have mobile phones switched off and ‘away for the day’ and notifications disabled on smartwatches during school hours.
Our school is committed to enhancing student well-being and creating a learning-focused environment free from distractions.
What does this mean for students at Moggill State School?
If a
student decides to bring their phone to school, they are required to hand it into the Administration Building once they arrive at school and collect it before they leave for the day.
Parents are to complete the
Electronic Device Request Form
to allow their child to bring their phone to school.
