Start of School Day
The school day commences at 8:55 am each day. Classroom teachers are required to mark rolls each morning at 8:55 am, any students who arrive at school after the 8:55 am bell has rung on any school day is required to check in at the Administration Office to obtain a late slip.
The late slip generated from the office is to be given to your child's classroom teacher upon arrival to class. Obtaining a late slip ensures that you will not receive an SMS for an unexplained absence and that your child is safe and accounted for. It is important to note that any unexplained absences will reflect on your child's report card.
If students will be late or absent from school, parents should advise the office as close to 8:55am as possible (via SMS 0426 306 218 or Voicemail 3202 0444 opt 3)
End of School Day
Children who are waiting for parents should remain in the grounds. Parents are requested to collect their children before 3:15 pm each day. To avoid congestion at the front of the school, a car park area exists at the back of the school (entry from Kangaroo Gully Road). Parents are reminded that the Pedestrian Crossing area, Post Office carpark (opposite the school), area in front of the school hall on Moggill Rd and the bus stop area at the front of the school are NO PARKING zones. Children going home alone are required to leave the grounds immediately they are dismissed. Children waiting for buses wait outside school offices and are supervised by a teacher to the bus.
