Start of School Day
The school day officially begins at 8:55 am. Classroom teachers mark attendance rolls at this time each morning.
Students arriving after the 8:55 am bell must report to the Administration Office to obtain a late slip before proceeding to class. The late slip should then be given to the classroom teacher upon arrival.
Obtaining a late slip ensures:
- Your child is safely accounted for.
- You do not receive an SMS regarding an unexplained absence.
- Attendance records remain accurate.
Please note that unexplained absences are recorded and may be reflected in your child's school records.
If your child will be late or absent, parents and carers should notify the school as close to 8:55 am as possible via:
- QParents, or
- SMS: 0426 306 218
End of School Day
Students waiting to be collected should remain within the school grounds. Parents and carers are asked to collect their children by 3:15 pm each day.
To help reduce congestion at the front of the school, additional parking is available at the rear of the school via Kangaroo Gully Road.
Parking Reminder
The following areas are designated No Parking Zones:
- Pedestrian crossing areas
- The area in front of the school hall on Moggill Road
- The bus stop area at the front of the school
Students who travel home independently are expected to leave the school grounds promptly at dismissal.
Students travelling by bus wait outside the school office area and are supervised by a teacher aide until their bus arrives.
Our OSHC service has exclusive use of the school grounds after school hours, including the playgrounds. The only students permitted to be on the school grounds after school are those who are booked into and attending the OSHC program.
