Parents and carers are welcome to visit the Library with their children and assist them in selecting books and developing a love of reading.
Library Learning Program
Students in Prep to Year 3 participate in scheduled Library lessons as part of their weekly program.
For students in Years 4 to 6, Library learning operates on a flexible timetable. Sessions are planned in collaboration with classroom teachers and are tailored to curriculum units, student learning needs and access to facilities such as the mini lab, interactive whiteboards and other Library resources.
All classes have a dedicated borrowing session each week, encouraging students to regularly explore new books, develop their reading interests and foster lifelong reading habits.
