Join our Moggill State School community this week as we celebrate Australia’s cultural diversity during Harmony Week. The week is an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with our children about the importance of inclusiveness, respect and a sense that everyone belongs. Our shared Australian values of respect, equality and freedom go beyond our different cultures, and are what makes Australia such a great place to live. The message of respect and belonging can be lived by each of us, every day, not just during Harmony Week.
During the week, our students will engage in a number of activities at break time to celebrate Harmony Week. Our social media page will be ablaze with orange coloured activities to celebrate that we ALL BELONG!
On Friday 25 March, everyone is to wear orange, the official colour chosen to represent Harmony Week. This colour also signifies meaningful communication and relates to freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect.
