The Social Worker works with students to support their personal and social wellbeing by identifying issues that may require intervention and connecting students and their families with appropriate support services. Using a strengths-based approach, the Social Worker may apply evidence-based interventions through individual and group supports.
Social work services are provided by the Department to support students experiencing mild to moderate mental health and wellbeing concerns. The Social Worker collaborates with student support teams, teaching staff, and key stakeholders to provide targeted, time-limited interventions.
