Welcome back to Term 3. I trust that you had a relaxing and restful holiday break and are ready for the term ahead. A sincere welcome to our newly enrolled families (we have had 10 new students enrol this week), as well as our families who are returning to Moggill State School this term.
This term we will continue with our high expectations and explicit school improvement agenda. On assembly this week I discussed with students the importance of being the best you can be and doing the best you can each and every day.
Throughout the week we have also discussed being at school in full school uniform every day and on time, as well as following our four school rules (using our PEACE Code as our tool):• Be SAFE• Be RESPECTFUL• Be RESPONSIBLE• Be IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME.
Please highlight and emphasise the importance of each of these areas with your child/ren at home.
As with Term 2, I encourage feedback from our school community. Please discuss any concerns or queries you may have with your child's class teacher, or myself or the Administration Team if you feel more comfortable to do so. My door is always open and I am always willing to work with parents/carers to ensure the needs of our students are being met and are our first priority.
I look forward to working with you throughout Semester 2 to provide the best learning opportunities for Moggill State School students.
