To ensure it can maintain at peak operational level, MSS and P&C are trialling a class allocation for each day Tuckshop is open for the remainder of 2019.
Each class will require parents to nominate for their allocated day between 9am and 12pm. Depending on the day 2-4 volunteers may be required and can be split over the time period eg: 1-2 parents per hour. Note: the time is approximate and should tuckshop require additional assistance on the day, we hope parents/caregivers can stay longer. Due to health and safety regulations and policy, younger children are not able to be in Tuckshop.
Should you be able to volunteer on a more regular basis eg: weekly, fortnightly, monthly or once a term, please email Mia firstname.lastname@example.org.
If NO volunteers received, Tuckshop may not operate on that day
Tasks that volunteers may undertake:
Food preparation – making sandwiches/wraps/toasties; making apple slinkies
Labelling of drinks / bags
Bag preparation – ensuring sauces/forks etc are bagged and food items are added
Placing bags into class boxes
Over the counter service – selling small change food items to students
Volunteering is all about making a difference in our school community.
Below is the Class Allocation for Tuckshop for the remainder of 2019. Please provide your nomination to your Class Rep (or Teacher where no Class Rep is nominated) the FRIDAY before your allocated week who will provide the details to Tuckshop.
We hope you will support this initiative to ensure the continued operation of our Tuckshop for your child/ren.
