You will have received a letter on Monday from school, relating to an incident that was reported to have occurred in the last week of Term 2 involving a stranger allegedly approaching one of our students while walking home from school. This matter is being investigated and followed up by the Police.

The safety of our students is paramount. On Assembly this week, students were reminded about personal safety, particularly about walking to and from school directly, using the agreed route. We also discussed traveling in groups rather than alone as well as responding to stranger danger.

We are seeking your cooperation to reinforce these messages about personal safety. Let's continue to work together to ensure that our children's safety and well-being while travelling to and from school is a priority. If you have any concerns please don't hesitate to speak to me.
