From feedback received from parents and staff, Moggill State School will be issuing Semester 1 2017 Report Cards electronically (via email). We have trialled this process with a couple of Year Levels over the past 12 months and have been able to iron out glitches or issues that have been identified. We have recognised the following benefits of sending Report Cards home to parents/carers electronically:
Emailing a copy of the Report Card will aim to ensure a higher reliability of parents/caregivers receiving it promptly and in the first instance;
It is a more secure method of distributing this information (and in some cases sensitive information) to parents/caregivers; and
A saving in paper will be made, making the process more environmentally friendly.
In order for our transition to this new whole school process to be successful, we require accurate email addresses for all of our families. A letter will be sent home to all families tomorrow, asking you to check the email addresses that we have for your family. Please return the letter to the All Returns Box in the office by Friday, 26 May.
