SCHOOL SUPPORT STAFF RECOGNITION WEEKGreat schools have great teachers and teachers can only do their best work if they get the support they need. Administration officers, computer network technicians, cleaners, grounds and facilities officers, and many other team members play an important role in the smooth running of state schools in Queensland. This week we have celebrated School Support Staff Recognition Week. On Friday (through a special breakfast) we will acknowledged the important contributions that support officers make every day. Their quality work behind the scenes ensures teachers, school leaders and students have the strong foundation they need to be successful.    Please take the time to thank our wonderful support staff this week.

TEACHER AIDE DAYEach year on the first Friday in September, schools celebrate the support provided to students and teachers by their teacher aides.

This celebration day enables the school community to recognise the skills, abilities and flexibility that teacher aides contribute to the daily life of the school. At Moggill State School we are fortunate to have a band of experienced and supportive teacher aides who work tirelessly to ensure our children receive the best learning opportunities that we can provide. Please join with me in acknowledging their hard work.
