Moggill SS undertook a school review in the final week of last term and the feedback from the reviewers over our many discussions was overwhelmingly positive. Moggill is a high performing school with dedicated teams of high quality people. We have great students, supportive parents and an engaged and invested community who hold us to account to maintain our high standards. These attributes were clearly evident to me when I arrived at Moggill at the beginning of the year, so it's great to see that other people see the same things in only three days.
In the coming weeks, we will receive a written report detailing key findings and a list of recommended improvement strategies for our school. I will present this report at this month's School Council and P&C meetings. The report will then be made available on our school website.
In addition to the formal school review, Moggill State School has engaged the services of an educational consultant, Mr David Curran, to undertake a further review of our school. Mr Curran will meet with parents, staff and students to discuss the strengths of our school and what can be improved as we shape the school's strategic direction for 2020-2023.
