Amongst the unfolding news surrounding COVID-19 we are aiming to be calm and realistic. The current advice is that attendance at school is a positive for community health and we continue to take advice from the Department of Education. Therefore, Moggill State School will continue to operate but with increased measures aimed at supporting the health and wellbeing of our students and staff.

On Wednesday I was advised that all school trips, camps and excursions are to be postponed or cancelled as a further step to implementing the advice on social distancing and reducing the risk of transmission in our schools and communities. Therefore, school trips, camps and excursions that were scheduled to commence from 21 March or after are to be postponed or cancelled until further notice.
