As we make arrangements for the 2019 school year, we continue planning classes for next year. We have received many emails from parents regarding considerations for their child's class allocation.
It is important to highlight to parents that not all requests are able to be met
Our planning teams are working hard to ensure classes are compiled carefully, with the needs of students being our first priority. This is an important process that takes a great deal of planning and time. Class allocations is a school priority and responsibility, and one that we take seriously. We have limited year level class allocation space (4 to 5 classes per year level) and place students into classes based on their identified needs and the needs of others.
We forecast our enrolments to fluctuate throughout the early parts of 2019 (including over the holiday break and January Student Free Days). With this in mind, as well as ensuring we provide accurate class lists for 2019, finalised class lists will be available for parents to view on Friday 25 January from 3pm. These lists will be available outside the school office on the windows. We will also email parents with your child's class allocation on the same afternoon.
