As part of our process for organising classes for the 2020 school year, I require information on student movement and on the social, emotional and academic needs of individual students. To facilitate this process, I gather and consider data from both parents and teachers to develop student and class/cohort profiles.
With this in mind, I invite parents to forward me any information that they feel is necessary for me to consider. Information that is relevant may include:
your child's specific learning needs and their preferred learning style
requests for siblings to be in the same, or different classes
any pertinent history your child has had with other individual students, or groups of students, that may positively/adversely affect your child's learning if they were to be placed in the same class
Please be aware that teachers will have access to the information that you provide and that no requests for individual teachers will be considered.
Parents wishing to pass on information for consideration should send an email to email@example.com by 5pm Wednesday 13 November.
What's new this year?
This year families will be informed of their child's class placement in the last week of school. Individual cards will be issued to each student detailing their 2020 class, their teacher and where their classroom will be located.
Full class lists with all student's names will not be made available to parents until school commences in 2020.
Students Not Returning in 2020
Students in Prep to Year 5 who are not returning to Moggill in 2020 are asked to notify the school by next Wednesday 13 November.
