October 31

I have just returned from visiting the Year 5 Camp at Runaway Bay and I can report the students and staff are having a wonderful time. It was great to see the students working together as teams to overcome the tricky tasks in 'Outdoor Team Challenges'. One such task involved stacking 15 milk crates vertically with the aid of only 20m of rope. It was fantastic to see our students communicating their strategies to one another and encouraging each other to persevere when it became frustrating.

The stand-up paddle board (SUP) activity, skirmish and archery were also very popular with our students. Congratulations to our wonderful Year 5 team of teachers Mr Tim Gall and Chaplain Niki for being on the job for four days straight!
