Welcome back to Term 4!

8/10/2015
Welcome back to Term 4. I sincerely hope that everyone had an enjoyable and relaxing break and you are charged and enthusiastic about the term ahead! As everyone would be aware, we return to school with a short week of only four days, after which Mr Marsh will return from his adventurous holiday visiting Victoria and New South Wales. I'm sure you will be looking forward to seeing Mr Marsh when he returns this week and will make him feel very welcome on his return.

Last term we enrolled some new families, so we welcome them and trust their stay at Moggill State School will be most enjoyable.

In Mr Marsh's absence I know he will be returning to the school's high expectations and explicit school improvement agenda. It is really important that you are being the best you can be and doing the best you can do each and every day. Remember to also ensure you are in full school uniform every day and on time, as well as following our four school rules (using our PEACE Code as our tools):

• Be SAFE
• Be RESPECFTFUL
• Be RESPONSIBLE
• Be IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME.

Please highlight and emphasise the importance of each of these areas with your child/ren at home. During Term 3 Mr Marsh also discussed ‘raising the bar’ this semester at MSS with our learning, by being BRAVE with school work and never giving up. This holds true for Term 4 where we can sometimes feel that everything is too hard even though the school year is almost at an end. Be proactive and keep on top of what needs to be done so you can finish the year on a high.

Thank you.
Mr Craig Kerwin
Acting Principal
