TERM 4 SWIMMING PROGRAM
The Years 4 – 7 (including Year 3 students in 3/4H) swimming program commences from Tuesday next week. Please ensure that payment for the program is finalised this week so that students are eligible to participate. If your child is unable to participate due to medical reasons please provide a medical certificate to their classroom teacher. Please be aware that the lower school swimming program (Years 1 – 3) will commence in Week 6 of the term at a cost of $40 per student. Further details will be forwarded via students in Week 3 of the term. Thank you.

INTER SCHOOL TENNIS COMPETITION
Moggill State School has been invited to participate in the Western Suburbs Interschool’s Tennis Challenge. The competition is coordinated by Brookfield Tennis Centre and will take place on Sundays over 7 weeks commencing 26 October and continuing through to 7 December. Details were forwarded to interested students at the end of last term, however, if your child did not receive the information and is interested in participating please see Mr Mitchell. Teams entering the competition will be finalised by Wednesday 15 October. Thank you.

ACTIVE AFTER SCHOOL COMMUNITIES (AASC)
The AASC program will commence in Week 3 of the term with two activities on offer. The first activity will be Dance taking place on Thursdays for 7 weeks starting 23 October. A sign on sheet for this activity is located in the office with a maximum of 60 students able to participate each week. The second activity on offer will be advised in next week’s newsletter. Thank you for your support of the AASC program at Moggill State School.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Congratulations to Jemma B for her efforts at the recent 12 Years Girls National Soccer Championships in Bendigo. Jemma played very well over the course of the championship with the QLD Team finishing in 3rd place overall. Well done on an amazing achievement Jemma.
