Adopt-A-Cop Induction

This week during Assembly, our new Adopt-A-Cop, Senior Constable Dan Egan was inducted into our school community. This process enables Dan to work within our school, supporting students, families and staff. We look forward to working with Dan and seeing him around our school in the future.

Semester 1 Report Cards

It is report card time of the year again. Students will receive their Semester 1 Report Card next Wednesday afternoon (25 June). Students in Year 6 and 7 who are away in Canberra will receive their report card in the mail. Please use the information from your child’s report card to engage in conversation around how they are going in each of the different learning areas. Please celebrate the areas in which your child has improved in or achieved highly as well as discussing the areas that may need some extra effort and work. If you have any questions regarding your child’s report card please make a suitable appointment time to discuss this with your child’s class teacher.

Year 6 and 7 Students head off to Canberra

This Sunday 104 of our Year 6 and 7 students will depart for their 2014 Canberra trip. This is the first time two year levels of students have been invited to a Canberra camp (this is owing to 2014 being the last year for both our Year 6 and Year 7 students). The itinerary for students and staff is jammed packed with a range of educational activities that will take place in our nation’s capital. We wish students, staff and parent helpers attending the camp, a safe and enjoyable trip. We look forward to hearing about their experiences when they return to school next Friday.

Semester 1 Choral Evening

Last night our school community was treated to its annual Choral Evening.  Our school is fortunate to offer students a wide range of learning programs, one of which is the highly acclaimed Choral Program. Thank you to our Junior and Senior choirs who performed last night as well as the number of special guests who supported the evening’s program. A sincere thank you to our school Choral Coordinator’s, Mrs Jo Mills and Mrs Jeanette King who ensure the program is the success it is. A great night was enjoyed by all!
