Chaplaincy parent afternoon tea next week

On the first Monday of each month before Parade about 1.45 pm, there is a chaplaincy afternoon tea held for parents. This is a chance for parents to meet other parents in the schooling community and also provides parents with a network of support. Our next afternoon tea will be next Monday, 2 June at 1.45 pm, before parade commences at 2.30 pm. Please put this date in your diary for term two and come along to say hello. Looking forward to seeing you again or meeting you if you are new.

Chappy week pancakes

Moggill State School’s ‘Chappy Week’ Pancake Breakfast was a great success this year with hundreds of people from the schooling community attending. Thanks to all those families who came along to enjoy the morning and support Moggill State School chaplaincy. There were a total of about 800 pancakes made throughout the morning, so, a big thank-you to all those volunteers who generously volunteered their time to help out with the event and also to the student leaders who did a wonderful job serving. Your help was greatly appreciated. Overall, students and parents had a great morning. All pancake mix, toppings, cups, table cloths, serviettes, forks and plates were donated by members of the local churches (Moggill Uniting Church, Bellbowrie Baptist Church, Bellbowrie Community Church, St Michael's and All Angels Church, St Catherine’s Worship Centre – Moggill). I want to say a massive thank you to all these churches for their pancake breakfast donations and for supporting Moggill Chaplaincy.
