This week sees a number of ANZAC commemoration services that our school will be involved.

Thursday, 23 April
On Thursday, 23 April our Year 6 school leaders (School Captains, House Captains and other leaders) will be attending an ANZAC service in ANZAC Square. Students will need to be dressed in full school uniform, including hats. Students will need to take morning tea/lunch and water. Students will depart school at 8:40 am and return to school at about 2:00 pm. Thank you to parents who have volunteered to be drivers and helpers for the day. A separate note will be sent home to outline the processes for this activity.

Friday, 24 April
We will conduct our traditional ANZAC service on Friday, 24 April, commencing at 10:30 am. Our community is invited to attend this special commemoration. I would request that parents please be seated by 10:20 am. Please do not stand around the hall exits, but take advantage of the seating provided at the rear of the hall. Parents are encouraged to wear medals as appropriate.

Saturday, 25 April
On Saturday, 25 April our school will be marching in the Kenmore-Moggill march. Students are requested to assemble at OLR at 7:45 am, with the march commencing at 8:15 am. There will be a short service at Kenmore Shopping Village at the conclusion of the march. I invite as many of our students as possible to participate in this important activity. Students will need to wear full school uniform and school hat.

Please call Paul Niner (Deputy Principal) on 3202 0422 should you have any queries in relation to these activities. Thank you.
