Please note that there will be three major activities planned to commemorate the 100th anniversary of this important event in Australia’s history.

On Thursday, 23 April we are planning for our Year 6 Student Leaders to attend the ANZAC Commemoration Ceremony in ANZAC Square. This ceremony commences at 10.30am and will conclude at 11.45am. Queensland Rail will provide free transport to the city, but we need a team of parent volunteers to transport students to the ferry. Students will then walk to the Riverview train station. Volunteer drivers are requested to accompany our school to this service. A letter/permission note has been sent home. On Friday, 24 April we will conduct our traditional ANZAC Service in the hall. The service commences at 10:30am and will be chaired by our School Captains.

On Saturday, 25 April we have been invited to participate in the Kenmore-Moggill ANZAC Day march and service. The march commences at 8:15am. Students and parents are requested to assemble at 7.45am.The assembly area is the Catholic Church (OLR) on the corner of Kenmore and Moggill Roads. Students and parents will then march along Moggill Road to the Kenmore Shopping Village. The Morning Service will then commence at 8:30am and conclude at about 9:30am. Maximum participation is requested.
